The holders of the Women’s Challenge Cup were sensationally knocked out of the competition after being ahead 14-6 at half time.

Bradford were held pointless in the second half as Castleford turned on the heat, Katie Hepworth scoring three times, one of which (below) has been the toast of social media.

York City Knights, without a win in Super League yet, beat Championship side Widnes Vikings in a morale-boosting 68-nil victory, while St Helens ran in 15 tries – four by Tara Jones – to send Hull FC out of the comp, 78-nil (highlights below)

Leeds Rhinos progressed to the quarter finals with a 58-0 win over Wakefield Trinity, but the Championship club earned plaudits for their plucky display against the Super League side (highlights below).
